Version 4.23 Install Rolling back.
I had problems installing 4.23 x64. It begins the install but then rolls it back. I'm installing on Window 10 x64 v2004 i7-6700. I've been using Calibre forever and have had install problems before. Usually I just uninstall the existing version and reinstall the new one. Then restore my data. It's a bit of a pain but has worked for me before.
I uninstalled 4.22 and again tried to install 4.23 but still it rolled back. Tried to install 4.22 again and now it's also rolling back. I even downloaded your 4.99 and tried it. Also rolling back. So now I can't install any version of the program. There is no specific error message. I've found no log file so I'm at a lost as to what is going wrong. I've run the install as administrator and it still rolls back. Any suggestions? |

In this thread they were having a similar issue. It turned out Microsoft PowerToys was the culprit and exiting it made it work.
