Original format

Does Calibre have an easy way of telling polish not to use my original epub format?

I see in tweaks you can switch the save original etc off but not to stop it from using it.

1) turn it OFF. This was added so you could have a KNOWN start (original) for difficult conversions.

2) delete any of those that were already saved (

in the tag browser: formats: original.... : select all highlighted: right-click:remove specific format:...)

Thanks theducks, I know about switching it off etc, I like having the original for that reason.

Import file, convert to AZW3 for kindle and get an original but then polish uses the original when I want to add soft hyphens.

Was just hoping you guys had a trick. Will save me moving the original or delete and add book again.
