Which of you Calibre geniuses can answer this for me?
Hi guys,
I'm about to join Uni at the ripe old age of 45 ![]() I'm looking for a way to organise, totally sync, keep ALL my annotations when I sync for my ebooks when I'm on my course, no matter where I am. I need to be able to export just the annotations/notes too after I've finished a book. Then I can edit and revise my notes easily. I've been using a MacBook using Clearview to read my books up until now and I love it. Everything has been synced to dropbox in folders. That goes to my Android phone, into Moon Reader Pro. So I've had part sync going for a few years! But obviously this doesn't keep any annotations or notes or bookmarks across the platforms and I really need this functionality now. I'm thinking of buying an android tablet too for classes. It all needs to be the same. Googling this morning, I discovered Calibre. It took me on a massive rabbit hole and kind of blew me away - perfect for organisation instead of silly folders! Love the conversion stuff. First I set up wireless sync etc. Now that was good! Then I went down the send to kindle email route, really liked the kindle app tbh but was GUTTED that Kindle for Mac wouldn't sync non kindle bought imports. I've tried literally everything to find a solution here. I want to put my ebooks into Calibre, perhaps have the default viewer as an app that then easily syncs with another app on Android? I dunno. My head is fried!!!! Has anyone got anything like this working? And what your method? I'd be so grateful if you could help me! Mark |
