Calibre Starts and then Exits

Been using Calibre for many years and routinely update both Calibre and Windows 10.
After a recent MS update I noticed Calibre did not restart. Tried to restart both the x86 and x64 versions but both act the same way. Calibre starts, I can see the window for about 5 seconds and then it just shuts down.
Here is my calibre-debug /g log:

I was running version 4.21 when this happened so I downloaded 4.22 but the same results.

Well go figure ... figured it out ... read another posting and someone mentioned the following: "I've updated my drivers but still not working. I have a kindle paperwhite but its not connected to the PC. Thanks for the suggestions though."
I took a look and noticed that I had plugged in my old Dell Windows Phone to charge the battery into the same cable I use to update my Sony PRS-T1 reader.
Unplugged the phone and restarted Calibre ... all good!!

Shuts down or moved off screen?
What does the task manager show (is calibre still on the list of running processes)?

Task manager showed shut down. Not a running process. Just retested and watched task manager. Calibre showed up there for about 1 second and then exited.
