Special Offers??

I recently ordered an Oasis 2 from Woot which seems to be working fine and I love the 7 inch screen. I decided to spend the $20 and remove the special offers but I can't seem to find where to go to do that. When it's asleep I see typewriter keys or letters on the screen if that helps. Guidance would be appreciated.

I'm wondering if the special offers have already been removed on this particular device and it's a one time deal for each unit. If it it, then I got a dang good deal from Woot.

Log into your Amazon account using a browser, go to Content & Devices, look at the specific device, select it, and under Details, select Remove Offers.

As far as I remember, this is device specific, and once removed, it remains that way.

I've never paid to remove them...early on there were decent offers I took advantage of, like buying a $20 dollar gift card and getting an extra $5 or $10. Now, I ignore them, and pay them no attention. The cost to remove them can buy several books. I keep the cover closed when not reading, and don't stare at the sleep screen.

Thanks for the information. Like I said earlier I feel like I got a really good deal on this Oasis and this makes it even better.
