Can We Collect/Sync Many Libraries?

After yet another system disk crash with win10 I installed Calibre again and happened to do a search. I found I have Calibre libraries on C:, D:, E:, F:, and H:.

Can I easily collect together the books from all these libraries and in future keep them in sync? Or no?

Why do all those library's exist?

Do they contain different books e.g. C: is for Fiction, D: is for Comics etc? Or are they instances of the same library with the same books (give or take)?

Hi.. they exist because of previous crashed system drives... creating confusion and creation of additional kindle and calibre libraries when I install a new disk and put the OS on
it.

Then I have to reinstall all my apps, including Kindle for pc and Calibre. And I'll install them on C:, typically in my hurry, and then sometimes have second thoughts later and start putting everything on some data drive for fear of yet another system crash.

So that's it. There's no system. There's just a mess. And now I want to clean it all up.

So I want all those libraries condensed into one and then I want that one synced with one or two others which would be backups, see?

And my kindle. I just downloaded, painfully, one by one, 500 kindle purchases. If I can add it to this question how best do I get them into Calibre?

I got started on that and found calibre claiming to be importing 1000 titles. I have vague memories of that happening before. Calibre imports both the actual book and some accompanying kindle document and then there's the hassle of getting those out again.

So I'd like to ask for the best method of bulk importing from a 'my kindle content' folder if I can as well as this question about gathering up the libraries?

Since I don't have a Kindle I'll drop out - but there are plenty here who do have them.

If you wnat to consolodate all books from multiple libraries, open them in calibre one by one and use the copy books to library functin. If you want to add all files from a particular folder in one go, right click the ad books button and select add multiple books from folder.
