Kindle DXG font hack
Hi all,
I picked up a Kindle DXG on eBay last year. I’ve recently gone through a “I want to have more text on a page and fewer page turns” phase, and my iPad Pro 11’s backlight would be perfect if not for the, you know, backlight. I jailbroke and changed the font to cram in some more text on the DXG, but the contrast is really weak. Obviously it’s 150ppi, but some of the darker system fonts are very bold. Is there anyway to replace the existing font with something a little bolder that might stand up better in smaller sizes? ![]() |
