Input images being cropped

Hi, i have a book that appears to be all images, even the text. When it is imported into calibre, the images seem to be cropped meaning much of the book is missing.
I have selected default input and output profiles and kept everything else as default but still the book is cropped.

A book that is all images is likely to be using "fixed layout", which is not supported by calibre.
