If I clicked IDs...
Every time I clicked on an IDs number (For example: Ids: ISBN),
calibre opened the ebook editor. I don't want that! In the past, calibre always opened the "worldcat.org" internet link. How can I solve this problem? |

Moderator Notice Please don't post the same issue in multiple forums, I've deleted the one in Library Managements - see Guideline # 3. When I click on an ISDN worldcat opens at the relevant page - can you post as value that doesn't work, the ones I tested were 13 digit numbers. BR |

Strange problem
Quote:
Examples: 9783867311359 9783864454622 9783000316197 etc. Now, calibre starts always the ebook editor when I click a ISBN number in the "about the book" section. In the past, calibre opens the url address "worldcat.org" under google chrome. I work with KDE Neon. I am puzzled. Yours sincerely Dreamangel |

"What is an ISBN?
ISBN is the acronym for International Standard Book Number. This 10 or 13-digit number identifies a specific book, an edition of a book, or a book-like product (such as an audiobook). Since 1970 each published book has a unique ISBN. In 2007, assigned ISBNs changed from 10 digits to 13." From ABE Books. |
