Re-download changed book

I maintain my Calibre library on my laptop and usually read the books on my Android phone. To do so, I start the server on the laptop and go to it on the phone, select Chrome, go to the URL for the Calibre server, select the library, find the book I want to read, select it, then click the Read button. This downloads the book and opens it for reading. All this works fine.

However, sometimes I find something I don't like about the format of the book, so I return to the laptop, edit the book in Calibre and save it. Then I return to the phone, return to the server home view, click on Browse all downloaded books, select the relevant book, click on the Delete button, return to the home view, select the library, find the book, select it, click on the Read button, and I am immediately taken to the page I was reading in the book before I deleted it, with the old formatting.

This same behaviour also happens on my iPad and on my laptop if I try the same thing.

This is using Calibre v4.15.

To actually get the updated version of the book, I go through various contortions - delete the running Chrome instance, reboot the phone, etc. and eventually get the new version of the book, but I expect this is a bug that probably can be fixed.

there is a "reload book" button in the viewer controls. use it and it should fetch the changes from the server.

stop, restart calibre works for me. that forces CS to serve the last edited version
