from a total novice: how to run scripts in Sigil

Hi all
I am a total beginner in sigil and in ebooks creation. I am facing a beginner barrier that i am not able to pass...I have the last version installed and I am completely unable to run any script... where can I find some basic guidance about it ? for instance
how to add a script file ? we had to use some plugin ?
I tried a lot of times to find answers in the foruns but all the comments seems much higher lever that my current knowledge

Are you referring to running Javascript in an epub? On the security tap in Sigil's Preferences => General Settings, enable Epubs may use Javascript. This may also involved enabling Epubs may access all remote resource types though my opinion is that anyone who creates an ebook which does not include all needed resources should be defenestrated.
