What has happened to the Calibre download site
What has happened to the download site. The last serveral times that a new update was ready it has taken hours to download a file that should take seconds.

I always use the Alternate Link, specifically the github link.
Why?
Because it is owned my Microsoft and has massive download capability so will download in seconds on my line.

What's happened is there is an insane amount of load since the coronavirus lockdowns started, the server is saturating its available outbound bandwidth, please use the alternate download links.

You can download the linux binary tarball separately using a browser, from say github, and have the install script use the pre-downloaded tarball. Instructions for this are on the linux download page.

And I have added some bandwidth so things should be better. Although I suspect immediately after a release the server is still gonna be insufficient
