search function
I saved several searches based on the year I read the books. However, the number of books read for each year is not indicated in the searches (see image). The tree shows only the total number of saved searches and not the number of results for each search

Yes, to see the number of results for a search, you need to actually perform the serch by clicking on the entry. calibre is not going to redo every single saved search everytime anythingin the library changes to show yu result numbers, the performance of that is too poor.
