Blurred images
I am new to Calibre. I wanted to convert what was downloaded as an Encrypted Adobe PDF into a format that can be read on Kindle Fire. I import into Calibre and try to convert and/or save to disk. Converting to Mobi and AZw3 both produce a file where I get two converted pages produced for each page of the book; the first with very faint text, the second with distorted and blurred text of that same original page. The image below shows the first generated page on the left, and the second generated page on the right. (This is captured from Kindle Previewer on Windows 10, but it looks just like this on the Kindle Fire too)
Converting to a PDF file works, and looks good on Adobe on Windows. The PDF looks decent enough on the Kindle except that a few characters are missing on each page. What am I doing wrong? Thanks |
