max. time for rtc1 by using rtcwake

Hello Folks,

does anyone know what the maximum time in the future is rtc1 is able to manage by using rtcwake? The man page of Linux rtcwake says that some rtc`s are not able to manage more than 24 hours. What about the rtc1 of the Paperwhite?

The reason behind is the script I´m about to run. If the battery drops below 5% the script puts the Paperwhite into STR until someone charges the battery.

Cheers, Mario

It goes above 24H just fine on Kobo Mk. 6, which use the same SoC as a PW2.

Hello NiLuJe,

thank you! Do you know whether it is the same for the Paperwhite 1?

The PW1 was still using an i.MX5, IIRC.

So does my H2O, and I don't think I've had any issues w/ > 24H alarms either .

I wouldn't bet anything on it, but there's a good chance it'll do just fine.
