How to Scroll Horizontially for ePubs in Vertical Writing?

So I have couple epubs that are in Mandarin Chinese, have words oriented vertically, and meant to be read from right to left. These are different than most books where words are oriented horizontally and are meant to be read from top to bottom.

I have no problem reading these Chinese ebooks online from Google Play store, as well as from Adobe Digital Edition where horizontal scrolling is done automatically (allowing right to left reading).

However the same cannot be said on Calibre. On Calibre the action of scrolling these Chinese ebooks, be it from arrow keys or page up/down keys will result jumping to the next chapter instead.

So the question I have is, is there some settings I missed that allows horizontal text scrolling?

As I understand it, Calibre's viewer does not support RTL language operations.

You probably need to use the 'Open With' option to pass the book to a supporting app.
