Any way to export book cover?

I want to be able to manually change books cover size, because when i download covers from internet it download covers with different size and they look bad in thumbnail view, but i can't find a way to export the already downloaded covers. Is there a way? I want to make all covers with the same size.

Go to edit metadata, right-click on the cover, copy and paste where you want it.

If I have to download a cover because the cover that's there is a generic cover or too small, I download the cover and if I find one to use, I copy it to the clipboard. Then I open the ePub in the Calibre editor. I past the new cover over the existing cover. Then I set resize the cover to 1600 lines. I can do that in the Calibre editor. When I am done, I use the metadata editor in Calibre to copy the cover from the ePub. So most of my covers are 1600 lines and that works well as a full size cover and a thumbnail on my H2O.

I use GIMP to edit covers. If I want to work on the cover already displayed in Calibre metadata editor, I just copy it, go to GIMP, "create file from clipboard", do any edits (crop, size, color), export the result from GIMP, then browse in the metadata editor to pull it in.

Similar if I download a cover, except instead of coying, just open the downloaded file to edit. Many available covers, especially old books or magazines, are badly faded images. GIMP can usually brighten them up a lot.

Either way, after bringing the cover back into metadata, I polish to put it in the book file.

Thanks. I don't have GIMP installed, but this worked with IrfanView.

If you do it the way I described, you can use the Calibre editor. It's very easy.

There is a Resize Cover plugin that works on the one Calibre shows in details.
Once that is fine (as well as the other metadata), use the Embed metadata tool or Polish (has cover controls)

Once again, Calibre offers many ways to get to a goal.
