Remove "Author" from "Title" field

Hi there,
Some of the books I imported into the library have suboptimal metadata, they repeat the name of the author as a prefix to the title, like:

Arthur Schnitzler: Der einsame Weg

where the author field would simply be

Arthur Schnitzler

Now I would like to bulk-edit the metadata using regex search and replace to remove the author name from the title field, if there is an exact match to the author field at the beginning. But although I pulled out quite some hair, I still can't figure out how to do this. Has anybody an idea how to do this?
