First Post is an Introduction

This is the first time I have joined anything like this so until I feel comfortable, please excuse me if I post something in the wrong place. Once I sort through all the threads on my particular problem, I will post something definite.
Right now, I am an old man (well, older, anyhow) trying to learn new tricks.
I am a retired Agricultural Consultant, mainly cattle, and have worked internationally for the past 30 years. I remarried 13 years ago to a wonderful lady, a Ukrainian national I met years back on a project. We decided to live in Ukraine because it is easier for my kids to visit Ukraine than her kids to visit Canada. I depend on the internet for everything. Reading is one of my hobbies so mobile devices are critical. Still learning.
