A minor inconsistency in page navigation?

I have Calibre Ver 4.6 running under Win 10. There appears to be a slight inconsistency in navigating from the cover to the first page.

When moving from the first page to the cover, the various keyboard keys or clicking in the left margin all work.

However, when moving from the cover to the first page, clicking on the right margin does not work; I have to use one of the keyboard keys.

If, like me, you prefer to click on either of the margins for page navigation, then having to shift mental gears on this one occasion is a minor irritation. However, could it be that I'm actually just missing something here?

There are no margins on cover pages that's why it does not work. The cover is supposed to, well, "cover" everything
