Title Page in Calibre

Hello. I have just started using Calibre to create MOBI files and am getting some weirdness on my title pages. The text, although appearing normal in my original Word document, is aligned vertically, thus:

B
O
O
K
T
I
T
L
E

When I view the book in the Kindle app on my iPod, the same text is all bunched up in the upper right hand corner, with lots of undesired line breaks. Can anyone help me with this?

Hey Rick, you'd probably get more joy in the Calibre forum. Perhaps a mod will move your post?

Also, is your MYBOOKTITLE marked as a Heading (like a proper heading "Heading 1" not formatted up the wazzoo)? That's my first guess. Also, you could try saving as a RTF (rather than DOCX) and try that. If the title is fixed, then maybe you could edit it in (the program that's free that I can't remember the name of...sorry! They'll know in the Calibre forum) and put your grooviness back that way.
