Can not download metadata from douban (Calibre 4.5)

I am using caliibre 4.5 and when i try to download metadata for a Chinese book it gives me an Error: No matches found. But when I look at the details I can see that it found no matches for the other sources but for Douban it failed to "make identify query" which may mean the problem is with the plugin.

I got the name of the book and its author from Douban itself and also I tried using VPN but the error persisted.
Is there anyway to resolve this?

Have you tried connecting to Douban using the generated URL in a web browser to see what the result is? When I tried your URL, it gave me an "Your API key is blocked. Please contact bd-team@douban.com for authorized access." though that may be location based.

I see so for now Douban cannot be used as a metadata source due to the API being no longer public. Well I guess there is not much that can be done right now.
