Conversion incomplete from AZW3

Hi

I am a newbie so need very simple step by step help. I have converted a number of books from AZW3 to EPub format with no problems. However, every now and then the conversion is incomplete and the output just has the chapter or a few lines with no text. I have tried other formats such as pdf, MOBI etc but the problem is the same I can see in Calibre that the original AZW3 is complete. Can anyone guide me through what to do to resolve this. Thanks

Validate, Validate (You can use the Calibre Editor).
Poorly coded files can do anything.
Publishers may do scripting tricks that just don't convert

Do NOT post the book (file) here, a tiny snipit od the code is fine.
Error logs should be pasted into [spoiler] tags

This will be because the azw3 file you are converting is a sample.
