That message tell us very little about WHAT REAL format was sent.
The file name you sent ended with . mobi
BUT
it could be anything (someone may have changed the extension to .mobi)
The rest of the message just states the acceptable formats.

You might try and convert that file TO Mobi. That might fix internal errors

Make sure your MOBI type is set to old in the mobi output section of the conversion dialog. Amazon does not allow new style MOBI to be sent via email.

Your message just states, that you don't read mine carefully:
I am adding epub files to Calibre library, they are converted to mobi and sent via*hotmail.com to @kindle.com email.

Five days ago, suddenly mobi files I've sent to my kindle via Calibre haven't arrived. Could this be why? But I don't see an "old Mobi" option in the conversion drop down menu?

I can attach the same files to my webmail and emClient mail and they DO arrive but when sent via Calibre, they don't. Nor does any Calibre Test Mail ... unless I first run the Diagnotics tab on my emClient (I don't know if this tweaks the the incoming port settings, but whatever it does) only then does the Test mail arrive in my webmail and my emClient inbox. The mobi files don't though, they just seem to completely disappear.

And for everthing, Calibre says email successfully sent.

Any ideas please as I'm missing not having my chosen books on my kindle from my Calibre library. Many thanks.

The option is on Preferences: Conversion: Mobi (from sidebar).
This affects All conversions to Mobi (IN THE FUTURE)
( You need to re-convert previously done (new Mobi) ones )

Thanks theducks. Checked it and it was already set on old mobi. So that's not the reason they're not arriving by email either
