Libra and "English" dictionary

The Libra is my first Kobo e-reader (purchased and registered in the UK) and I'm dismayed to find that the English dictionary is in fact American. Is this a problem with the Libra or all Kobo e-readers?

Kobo use a Merriam-Webster dictionary for English. There are no options to choose anything else.
