The Veiwer is not great

Honestly feels like you stole the reader view from Firefox and removed some features of it. Or stole the epub support from Edge since MS is getting rid of it.

Since I doubt all of our complaining will result in it looking like the previous version, here are some things the current one is missing

1. No scroll bars. Tend to use them to go thru books.
2. No progress.
2a. No progress to copy and paste when needed.
3. No context menu on images. I can't right click on them and select view image. Great for when the books have maps.
4. Can't zoom text in far enough. The 5 levels don't zoom it far enough. Useful for reading far away from the screen.
5. Right clicking doesn't dismiss the menu.
6. Option to change the menu key from right click so I can copy text.
7. The title bar and status bar need a color. It is really weird seeing a white box of text randomly floating. Feels like I hit F11 on my browser.

Also, the menu doesn't come up each time you right click.
Also, can we get some different theme that we can select like sepia or the options to set them ourselves.
Also, the option to create a menu/tool bar for icons we want.
Also, when full screen, I get 3 pages and not 1. Same when I can the window dimensions. It will just add a second page.
Also, the welcome page needs not to show up when opening each book.
Also, it is slower to open books now.

I am going to stick with 3.48 for now.

Well, looks like you did not read any of the topics covering the viewer until now.
Many of your complaints are either outdated (since already changed) or just plain wrong. But since you've already decided to stay with 3.48, I won't bother explaining it.

This is coming from a fresh install of it, so unless there has been an update pushed in the last couple of hours, I have the latest version.

Have you read all the dozens of posts since 4.0 came out?

Kovid did a lot of changes since the release of 4.0. Reading the posts you could have known. Those changes will be available on the next release.

6. Option to change the menu key from right click so I can copy text. It's there. Go to preferences > keyboard shortcuts. Also, you can select text and use CTRL+C to copy.

It does not. Only shows up for the first two books you open.

Not only can you zoom arbitrarily using keyboard shortcuts/mouse wheel, you can control the zoom size increments and you can even set a fully arbitrary custom font size using the viewer controls, so the new viewer is actual more customizable than the old.
