No Bookviewer, No Edit metadata plus more

Of course thank you to Calibre devs is in order. Thanks for your time and hard work. I use Calibre multiple times per day -so it is vital to me.

Using Calibre 4.0 on PCLOS KDE5.

I cannot read a book on Calibre 4.0 at all. I double click the book, click the View icon, right click to the fast menu but it won't start. Along with this I am not able to use,

Edit metadata or Convert a book. I this error when I try to do either

ERROR: Unhandled Error
AttributeError: 'QTextBlockFormat' object has no attribute 'headingLevel'

the plug-in, Count Pages I got this,
ERROR: Unhandled Error
AttributeError: 'QTextBlockFormat' object has no attribute 'headingLevel'

I don't even get a pop up error when I try to use View.

Should I be removing and re-adding plugins to Calibre 4.0?

Any suggestions please?

You are presumably not using the calibre binaries and have instead built it from source. Your version of Qt is too old.

assuming I built or can build anything, Kovid. I am shamelessly yet gratefully dependent on smart folks like you to do the 'building'. I just update as they come in the repos.

I'll ask on the forum re the Qt version.
