Performance of QtWebEngine versions
I'm sure this must have been mentioned in other threads. But I'd just like to go front and centre with my report that, having now completed a couple of big projects in latest-version Sigil, the progressive slowing-down problem seems to have completely gone away. I can work (temporarily of course!) in a file several thousand lines long with minimal lag.

Yes the lack of recent security updates plus the memory leaks/usage when using javascript, using svg images etc, made the move from QtWebKit to QtWebengine a must for us.
I am happy to hear performance in these regards has improved. |
