Calibre to Kindle - Scheduled news - how to make date appear at the bottom in ibrary
How do I make sure that news publication date is displayed at the bottom of each newspaper when the list is shown in Kindle library?

Use USB to transfer the files to your kindle and make sure your output format in calibre is set to azw3

Thanks for the reply. I am using send to kindle email for delivery of news to kindle every morning. Is it not possible with email delivery? I believe kindle shows the author at the bottom of the news in library. Can we change it to publication date? Or can Calibre put date in author's column?
Also, on unrelated note, can you make an option to retry fetching news if it fails on scheduled time (preferably with frequency and max retries)?

When you send files by email amazon automatically reformats then to remove the periodical ofrmatting, so no, it is not possible to use email delivery.

Did you understand post #4. Amazon does its thing with emailed files.
Avoid email if it is bothering you.
