Question about "ignore."

Question about "ignore." Are all previous posts blocked/hidden? Because the ignore feature doesn't seem to work for me. I've tried using Safari on an iPad and Firefox on a computer.

Yes. The contents of all previous posts should not be visible. Don't misunderstand the feature, though. It won't "hide" someone's posts to the point that you won't even know they're there. You'll still know a user in your ignore list has posted to a thread. You just won't be able to see the contents of the post.

It's not working for me. It's not a big deal, just curious why it doesn't work.

You're right. I just tried ignoring DiapDealer, but his post in this thread is still visible to me. I must assume as you did that it only works on future posts.

I just tried it and past posts' contents were hidden. I see avatars and I see signatures, but the content of the posts are hidden until I remove someone from my ignore list.

OK; this time it worked on past posts also. Lazy browsers using a cached page?
