Calibre Companion Hiding Files or Metadata?

Currently, I keep two kinds of files on CC, my fic and my books. These categories are designated via a custom column with dropbox. Usually, in CC I can tap type on the grouping draw and it'll say (numbers are examples, but close estimate] Books [700] Fic [1000] which matches up with my library. Then, sometimes, I open it up and it'll say Books [30] Fic [5]

Um. Excuse?

I connect it as a wireless device, and it says the files are on the device, but scrolling through on CC doesn't show them. If I manually tell it to add them, it doesn't seem to be duplicating files (Like, it just did it, and it's adding ~500 which is about the number it wasn't showing), but when is it deleting them? Are they still taking up iPad memory space, or did something cause CC to delete files that were visible and useable between the last time I connected it and now? Again, whenever I connect as wireless device it says all of my book-labeled files are on the devices' main memory, but CC shows a fraction of that.

Have you looked in the Calibre Companion forum, such as this thread ==>> https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=323607. There are a couple of sticky threads in the CC forum you also might want to peruse.

Others have reported problems similiar to yours.
