Bluetooth connection
I can easily enable Bluetooth and connect my "All New Paperwhite (10th Generation)" firmware 5.10.3 to
- My bluetooth headset - My AM/FM radio + bluetooth input - My car infotainment system but never to - My Android phones - My iPad - My PCs running Windows 7 Is that to be expected? Why? I just wanted to trace the PW4 Bluetooth MAC address, once connected to a PC. Has anyone been more sucessful than me? |

I suspect the bluetooth driver on the PW4 presents itself to other bluetooth devices as an audio source and is only looking to connect to something speaker like.

Are you jailbroken? Do you have terminal access? If so, what does bt-device -l show when it is connected via bluetooth?

Lab126 does not ship a complete set of Bluetooth modules. Not sure. I recall somebody posting about a complete Bluetooth stack, but not sure if they ever did the work. Of course, that was before the PW4 and the use of signed modules (see recent post on the subject - - "PW4 Serial Port" perhaps). |

If so - you may be in luck - there is PW4 factory_PW4_5.10.1.3_initial MD5: 538d939c2cb4f05c7952d33d5348f010 in the wiki: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/5_x...#Step-by-Step: |
