Internal Service Error

I have a copy of Calibre Companion purchased from the Amazon app store back in 2012. It's been serving me well since then but I'm having an issue with it now. For some reason, I'm constantly getting an Internal Service Error message every time I open the application. It says that there could be a problem with my phones network connection but, I'm purposely posting this from my phone to show that there's no problem there. I've tried running CC while connected to both Wi-Fi and cellular networks without any progress. This is all on A Sprint Galaxy S10+. If it helps, the copy of CC installed on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A is running just fine.

Sorry, but I have no idea what an "Internal Service Error" is or where it is coming from. CC doesn't have that message.

If you send me a CC debug log (see this CC FAQ post for instructions) I might be able to give some more info.

try uninstall and reinstall of the app on that device. maybe it had a problem updating itself...

or delete app data which does not uninstall it but makes it like new, then reconfigure it...

I've solved the problem. It was an issue with the Amazon appstore and it's DRM. I had to sign out and sign back in to my Amazon account on my phone to fix it. I discovered the fix in a forum post from 2011 on Android Central.
