Mundania Press Has Closed Effective March 27, 2019
I just found out this today. I had bought from them the in the past. They sent me no notice.

They had republished all of Robert Adams Horseclans books and his other ones too
I never got around to buying all of them.

I just found out you can still buy them on Amazon if anyone wants them

Mundania Press Has Closed Effective March 27, 2019
Mundania Press, Phaze Books, Awe-Struck Publishing, and Hard Shell Word Factory have closed.

All publication rights are returned to all authors effective March 27, 2019.

I bought e-copies of one of my favorite young adult series from them (Mancer by Don Callander -also still available from amazon) but they really didn't seem to advertise themselves the way most minor booksellers do.

This was in fact a publishing house that Piers Anthony was involved with -- I'm not sure if he started it but he invested in it, and they republished a number of his early books. (I know this because Mundania acquired my publisher, Hard Shell Word Factory, about 10 years ago, so this closure affected one of my books. I just found out about it today when I noticed the book was no longer available except from a third-party seller on Amazon, for $2,600[!]. Believe me when I say the book is not worth that much.)

They published Louise Cooper's Time's Master and Chaos Gate Trilogies of which only the third book of the Time's Master series is currently on Amazon (don't ask me why only the 3rd book of the series and not the first two). Those are very good fantasy novels and it's a real pity they got stranded with such a small publisher that no one knew about to buy from. Maybe now they'll get republished or end up on Amazon.

I believe those were originally published by Tor, or at least the paperback versions that I bought many long years ago where from Tor. I suspect that like a lot of old backlist books, it's a combination of who actually has the rights to those books as well as a willingness to turn them into ebooks. Louise Cooper died about a decade ago, so it could just be a case where putting them out as ebooks isn't a priority to the current copyright holder (I think her husband is still alive).
