What where you attempting to do? What had you done prior to this 32 character "accident"? We really need to know those answers before we can figure out how to "un-break" it. |

It's a "simple" thing. I logout my kindle account, found the entrance to kual gone and then I reinstalled it, and then it went blank, and I rebooted the kindle. After restart, because CRP is installed, it automatically enters diag mode. When trying to exit diag mode, it enters fastboot mode. After "fastboot setvar boootmode main" is disconnected, the computer will still enter diag mode. I think I will reset it and take it for granted that "fastboot setvar bootmode reset" is executed.

OR
Remove the USB cable when you restart it. ![]() If you leave it connected, of course it will go to diag mode, you have CRP installed. |

So put the cable back, see if CRP can catch it before it loops.

Evidently that isn't working either. But you do not want to let it run the battery down, not good for the battery. Two choices: Keep it on a wall charger or Open it up and disconnect the battery. Then you will have to wait for someone else to suggest what to do next. I am out of ideas. |
