Lightbulb Faster browsing, 10pg per click

Perhaps something interesting some of you don't know yet...

But I just figured out by pressing and holding the 'next' or 'previous' page for a few seconds on a Sony PRS-505 you can skip back or forward to 10 pages down the road!

Perhaps interesting for some!

It's news to me, and I've had a 505 for close to a year now

It's confirmed: I'm officially one of a dying breed who actually reads manuals! (Even those in electronic form. ) I knew this before I ever powered up my old PRS500, almost 1.5 years ago.

Good to mention it for those who DON'T read manuals, though!

(See what y'all are missing? )

I don't remember reading that in the PRS505 manual; in fact the manual was the first book I read on the PRS itself (After figuring out for 60% how the reader worked myself).

Actually, the feature is mentioned on the page 38 (Operations on the book page screen) of the English version of the manual.

I've only ever done this by accident and it was always annoying to go back nine pages afterwards. Now it makes a lot more sense!

You know, I've read that manual at least 3 times and never saw that. Probably cause my fingers were shaking from excitement at getting a reader
