Hi,

I am trying to convert an azw3 file downloaded from Amazon using the "Download & transfer via USB" method, in Calibre. I have the DeDRM plugin installed, but keep getting the message that this file is DRM protected.

I've read all the info about using Kindle for PC/Mac 1.17, but is this necessary when I am downloading the file from Amazon using the "Download & transfer via USB" method?

Will it be possible to convert this file?

DRM removal instructions and help are not allowed on MobileRead.

You need to ask for help at the site where you obtained the DRM removal plugin.
