Is there a Kindle equivalent of the "KoboUtilities" plugin?
Specifically the automated backup/restore of reading position functionality is a big deal to me. Would be great to be able to import all my books from my H2O with read status/position intact, since my H2O has died today and looking into other options for a replacement

Technically iffy to achieve, as you don't have direct access to the DB on Kindle.
As an example, implementing collection support via the Kindle Collections plugin requires a JailBroken device, and a massive pile of kludges to get it to behave in a semi sensible manner, and relies on a custom tool that you need to manually run on the device after your Calibre session. |
