Too many publishers?

I've run into a snag. I've got a book that might need more than one Publisher. But it's hard to tell if I'm reading the legal mumbo-jumbo on the Copyright page correctly. This is what it says:

© 2014 Fire Opal Media and Pelgrane Press Ltd. All rights reserved.
Published by Pelgrane Press Ltd under license from Fire Opal Media.
13th Age and the 13th Age Bestiary are published by Pelgrane Press under Open Game License version 1.0a Copyright 2000 Wizards of the Coast, Inc. 13th Age is a trademark of Fire Opal Media.
© 2014 Fire Opal Media. All rights reserved.

But on the next page, entitled Credits, there is:

Publisher: Simon Rogers

If I'm reading this correctly, the real publisher is Pelgrane Press. But should I be cross-referencing Fire Opal Media? And/or Simon Rogers? There will definitely be more records like these due to that "Open Game License".

For the few books I have that list multiple publishers, I use a custom column to hold them. In the case you showed, I would use Simon Rogers as the publisher in calibre's Publisher column and place the rest in the additional publishers custom column. Much the same as placing the editor (preferred) or at most, two authors in the author column for multi-author books or anthologies and the rest of the authors in a additional authors column. Admittedly, that authors bit is to keep filenames from getting munged to keep the length down.

Thank you both for your comments. I was thinking I might have to create a 2nd Publisher custom column and change the search functionality, but perhaps the Entities Manager will work better.

Problem is, I really don't understand what that plugin is/does. I'll do some more reading on the plugin's topic and maybe a bit of careful playing - on a test library.

Way to go - EM is akin to a Meccano kit, i.e. it doesn't do a specific job - more like a box of sticks, string and sealing wax to play around with.
