Downsampling of images in ZIP to ePub conversion
I noticed that PNG images are downsized in the conversion process from ZIP file to ePub file in Calibre.
I’ve searched for a setting in Calibre to avoid this resizing, but could not find it. To be more precise. When adding a new book tot the Calibre library, Calibre is making a ZIP file of the directory with all the files of the publication, including the images. In this ZIP file the images keep the original file size, in my case 1920 x 2610 pixels. When converting the ZIP file to ePUB in Calibre the images are downsized to 872 x 1186 pixels. Any idea how I can keep the original pixel sizes from the images? Last edited by netman49; 03-29-2019 at 05:03 AM. Reason: More details. |

Set profile to Tablet is the only one I know to (or not) rescale images. Tablet assumes 'as is'
