Looking for a pocket-sized ereader with frontlight and stylus input
Hello,
I've discovered that Onyx is doing ereader with stylus, something I've been waiting for years. But, on their website, I'm confused by the number of models. I'm looking for a pocket sized reader (6"-7"), with wacom stylus and with frontlight (to take note during the night). I haven't found one on Onyx website but, maybe, I missed it. Or maybe I*should look at other brands. |

Nova Pro should be released soon and will have both a stylus and a frontlight. But it will be a 7.8" device.
For a 6.8" device, you could try the Mobiscribe being funded on Indiegogo: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/m...epad#/comments Apparently, some backers have already received their devices even though the campaign is not over. But backing a crowdfunded campaign always comes with some risk. Many people who backed a similar campaign by Good Ereader never got their devices even though they started selling them on their own webstore. |

Thanks, already found out about the Mobiscribe. Wondering how is the reading experience on the device compared to a Kobo.

As for the recent Onyx devices, in terms of the reading experience, they function quite well for my needs, except for texts in Japanese. Kobo does a much better job of handling Japanese. (That said, using the Moon+ Reader app for Japanese texts on my Note works well enough so long as you don't mind that the text runs horizontally instead of vertically.) |
