Hi,

how to wake up 4th gen non-touch Kindle?

Something I've tried:

[root@kindle root]# echo 0 > /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm
-sh: cannot create /sys/class/rtc/rtc0/wakealarm: nonexistent directory

[root@kindle root]# cat /proc/driver/rtc

The same processor that you are trying to wake is the one that is serving the command line.
So if you can type on the command line, it is already awake.

Although the screen may still be showing its "sleep page" A.K.A: screen saver.


The two, "sleeping" and "in screen-saver" statuses are separate (although loosely related).
