Added This Week: Custom Column or Plugboard?

Hi!

I use Calibre for both my ebook library and my fic library. I usually put a few new ebooks in every week, and they have to be added to both my iPad and my iPhone. Is there a way to create a column that denotes if something has been added in the past week? Further, could it identify whether it’s a book added within the week (I have a custom column to designate book or fic)?

Create a Date column (#transferred/Transferred), when you put new books on your devices use bulk metadata edit to edit the Tranferred column, it should default to today's date, if not enter '='.

I don't think date formatting includes a formatting option for so-called Friendly interpretations such as - Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week etc. That might be doable with a composite custom column program mode template.

I use the Reading List plugin for this. I have a reading list for each of my devices. When I add or modify a book, I add it to the reading list for the devices I want it on. Then when I connect the device, I sync the list and clear it.
