Hack attack?

I see that a thread of which I was OP has now had the OP identity changed: Now the OP is "demonss".

What with someone new also copying a book posting of mine in the Patricia Clarke Library, but without the book, I wonder of someone outside is snooping around the forum having "fun".

Yeah ... they're not hacks. It's a pretty common spam tactic. They copy the contents of another post and create a new thread. The spammer usually returns at a later date to add spam links. They must have lost track.

These threads typically get reported and we ban them (and delete the their posts), but that didn't happen with these ones (yet).

I'm going to move this thread to the Feedback forum.

I deleted the bogus kindlebook thread, by the way. I left the other thread since there were tons of valid responses to the question.

Just report any others you may happen upon. We'll deal with them.
