Strange name for magazine ??
When downloading magazines using Calibre recipes they are getting strange names. Instead of The Atlantic the name is "rje3w3 recipe out"
Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a bug? If so, is there a work around? Thanks. Dave |

Sounds like you have disabled reading of metadata from files, either in Preferences->Adding books or by disabling the metadata reading plugin for whatever your output format is.

I know this is an old thread but this started happening when I changed from kindle to kobo. Posting what I did to correct it in case it might help someone. Installing the KEPUB metadata reader fixed the issue for me. Preferences -> Plugins -> Metadata reader plugins, check if you have David Forrester's KePub metadata reader plugin.
Kovid's post above sent me to the right place to look. Thanks Kovid. |
