Hi I'm new to this. Just got Calibre but my Kindle Fire HD 8 does not appear.
I debugged the Device connection as asked and posted the results. Looking forward to using Calibre.

I'd take a look at the line 'storage': []. As far as I recall, the log indicates that your Fire is being seen but no available storage is being reported. Try powering your Fire off and back on, rebooting your computer and then connecting your Fire again.
