Device: Kobo Aura HD
Original Kobo Aura not booting

Hello everyone, i have a problem with my Kobo Aura(model No. N204B) and i can't seem to be able to fix it.

I am not able to soft reset or factory reset the device so i'm really sure what i should do now.

I'll try to be as specific as i can in case anyone knows a way to solve my problem.

Yesterday i got this device from my sister to read some harry potter(the kobo wasn't used for some time so i charged it up for 4 hours straight). After i tried to connect it to my Macbook pro the screen just wouldn't turn on.

When i switch the power slider the screen gose black two times and then it goes in the blank state(white screen) indefinitely with the white led slowly blinking white and after a certain amount of time the led just stops blinking and the screen remains blank.

Soft reset with paperclip doesn't work.
Manual Factory reset doesn't work either (i press the light button, switch the power slider and once the white led starts blinking i release the light button).

I really don't know what to do at this point so any help is appreciated.
