Hi all! So I've got a fair few files in Calibre (mainly manga but novels as well). It's fairly unorganised as I've just used it to add stuff to my e-reader. I've decided that I want to actually organise all of my manga and fill out all the fields I can so that I eventually have an awesome, super organised library.
The only problem is that it's going to take me many, many hours of work and I don't have the patience to do it all at once. I have some bad health problems so chances are I'll need a break often and will probably stick to just completing a series at a time. I just finished organising my first series to the best of my ability (it's awesome!) and I'll do some more tomorrow. Anyway, I'm wondering if there is any way, with or without a plugin or something, that will let me add these to some sort of list or something. I would like to be able to right click or drag the completed manga to some sort of section such as "finished organising". That way I won't struggle to figure out what I have or have not completed. Plus it'll keep me motivated if I can see what a library looks like when there are only organised files in it! I hope this makes sense to you guys, I have a tendency to ramble and make my questions much more confusing than need be. My bad! Cheers for the help, Brad ![]() |

Personally, I use a custom column(s) to track my 'touch up and validated' efforts.
But you could just add a Tag 'deMANGAled' ![]() ![]() But make a Tag or column, then create a Virtual Library (search) tags: Manga and tags: not <the tag used here> to see the untaged (you might need the first condition if the library is mixed content) |

One simple idea; add a new column Organized and set it to Yes when processed. Then create two virtual libraries; one that only shows items with Organized Yes, and one that shows items with any other value (or no value) for Organized.
