Bookshout and Kobo???

Subscribers of the Wall Street Journal can download one free Harper-Collins book, from a selection of four, per month.
https://www.wsjplus.com/offers/wsj-b...nth-october-18

Unfortunately, it is linked to the "Bookshout" app, which has versions for android, ios and Kindle.

Does anyone know if there's a way to access the actual files and transfer them to calibre and then send them to a Kobo reader?

I don't have a Kobo yet, but am leaning toward the KA1 or Forma in the next month.

TIA

Bookshout only supports Kindle Fire, not Kindle eInk readers. I don't think there's any way to transfer from the Bookshout app to Calibre.

It should be possible (with enough patience) to extract books through the website but I'd rather just shop elsewhere.
