How tom default to Book View

I am currently using Version 0.9.7 to edit e-books missing a TOC to add that. When I open a book for editing it shows the Book View. I then search for either "chapter" or the next number and it changes to Code View. I then have to click the Book View icon to return to book view. How can I make it stay in Book View by default?

By changing the search parameters to only search the current file. Searching All Files is not supported in Book View.

Searching/Replacing in Book View is something that's really not recommended to begin with. That's why it switches to Code View.

The only way to search within Book View is to keep search on "Current File":

Search in CODEVIEW, Look in PREVIEW
You can even make code view pretty small or undock Preview and throw it to a second monitor
